Regeneration Church Core Beliefs
Bible
We believe the Bible to be the complete Word of God.
- That the Bible is the Word of God spoken, given to us. (John 1:1-3)
- That the Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and conduct · 2 Timothy 3:16
God
We believe in one God, Creator of all, holy, sovereign, eternal, existing as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, (1 Corinthians 8:6)
Jesus Christ
We believe in the absolute and essential deity of our Lord Jesus Christ
- In His eternal existence, with the Father in pre-incarnate glory. (John 1:14-16)
- In His work of creation, in His virgin birth,(Matt 1:18-25), sinless life, death and bodily resurrection. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
- In His triumphant ascension, and personal return. (Matthew 28:18)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the absolute and essential deity in the person of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16)
- Who regenerates, indwells, seals, sanctifies, illuminates and comforts those who believes in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17)
- Who baptizes believers at conversion into the Body of Christ and bestows upon them His gifts sovereignly as He wills and fills those yielded to Him. (Acts 2:38)
- Who is essential for empowerment after having received salvation manifests in the speaking of other tongues which releases power to participates in an effective relationship with God. (Acts 1:8)
Mankind
We believe that Adam was divinely created in the image of God. Genesis 1:27
- That mankind is the product of God made for good works in the earth. (Ephesians 2:10)
- That all mankind needed to be redeemed because of the fall of Adam. (Titus 3:5)
Salvation
We believe that salvation is given by the sovereign grace of God (Isaiah 59:16)
- That by the Father, Christ voluntarily give His Life, for our salvation in Him, (John 3:16)
- That justification is by faith alone in the all-sufficient sacrifice and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
- That those whom God has effectually called shall be divinely preserved and ultimately perfected in the image of the Lord. (Romans 10:9)
the church (the cALLED OUT ONES)
We believe that the church is essential to the plan of God being made known and to the advancement of His Kingdom in the Earth (Matthew 28:19-20)
- That by the gathering in unity of the Body of Christ upon the foundation of the Apostle's teaching we are to be equipped in the Word unto maturity for the perfecting of God's people and the preaching of the Gospel to the world. (Ephesian 4:11-13) (Hebrews 10:24-25)
